The most creative (aka fictional) accounting isn’t being done in the private sector. It’s with government accountants who literally pull numbers out of their butts, such as the recent California budget where they “balanced” it by pretending that the economy will have a huge rebound. RINO Governor Arnold Shriver sealed his legacy as an utter failure by endorsing this monstrosity.

Wouldn’t it be great if we could all assume our way to prosperity? Of course, it doesn’t work that way for those us who live on Planet Earth and not in the Fantasy Land our rulers and their lackeys occupy.
