It’s the 75th anniversary of the introduction of Social Security checks. For the younger viewers who don’t know what a Social Security check is, you’ll never see one in your lifetime, so don’t worry about it.

As the saying goes, “When you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can be sure to have plenty of support from Paul.”

As the mantra grows to soak the evil rich with even more taxes to pay for the overspending by the crooks in DC, it’s good to have this reminder that those defined as rich already pay almost all of the income taxes in this country. 

If the tax rates are increased, the actual dollar amounts paid to IRS will go down because those “evil rich” folks will stop earning as much money and will become more aggressive in using the tax savings tactics that we client minded tax pros advise.
