It’s always been an additional pressure during Tax Season to have to move the clock ahead by an hour. It’s not the loss of a billable hour that has been the big problem; but the loss of another hour of sleep during this high pressure time of year.
At least it isn’t as jarring since they moved the Spring Ahead day into March. It used to be a real shock to the system when it happened a week before April 15.

States may hold onto tax refunds for months – No surprise here. Other states are copying the PRC’s scheme. I’m sure they’ll be just as consistent in their treatment of people who owe taxes, with plenty of penalties and interest charges for being even one day late.

WA State Senate proposal: Add income tax on wealthy to cut sales tax for everyone
Proving that the PRC isn’t the only Left Coast state run by Marxist idiots, one of the few states without a personal income tax is so desperate for cash that they are proposing this soak the rich scheme.
Anyone with any knowledge of history, especially of the US Tax Code, knows where this will end up. It won’t be long before an income tax only intended for the evil rich will be assessed on everyone.
