The White House has posted pdf copies of their 2011 tax returns.
Obama – 48 pages. 1040 + Illinois + 709s for gifts to daughters.
Biden – 25 pages. 1040 + Delaware + Virginia.

With all the talk about people paying their “fair share” of income taxes, why do nearly half the people in this country pay no income taxes at all? Is that their “fair share”? Or is creating more recipients of government handouts, at no cost to themselves, simply a strategy to gain more votes?
Some people say that taxes are the price we pay for civilization. But the runaway taxes of our time are the price we pay for being gullible.
The United States now has the dubious distinction of having the highest corporate tax rate in the world. And people wonder why American corporations are expanding overseas, providing jobs to foreigners. The left may get their jollies attacking “the rich,” but the real victims are other people, who want the jobs that are sent overseas to escape a hostile business climate at home.

Why tax planning is so critical…

It is such a shame that so many people still believe that tax planning is a waste of time, when it is so obvious that the DemonRats are so focused on confiscating more and more money from the productive folks under the guise of Fairness. If these warnings aren’t motivation enough to start working with an experienced tax professional to devise an asset protection strategy, it’s tough to have much sympathy.

People are living too long for the SSA

When the Social Security (SS) system was established back in the 1930s, the life expectancy of Americans was much lower than it is today. The retirement age for people to draw benefits was intentionally set higher than the expected life expectancy for the express reason that the financial model could not afford to pay benefits for everybody who had paid in. It was necessary for many people to die off prior to receiving benefits for the imaginary SS “fund” to stay solvent, because unclaimed benefits just stay in the fund for everyone else and can’t be passed on to heirs.
The trend of people living longer has gotten worse from SSA’s perspective and the system is now technically insolvent. One possible solution to this problem is covered in today’s episode of NewsBusters.
This may sound like an absurd inconceivable idea, but you have to remember that the same incompetent corrupt people in DC who set up and run the SS system will soon be in complete charge of all of our health care; so those Death Panels they are setting up, that will decide who may continue to live, will have a built in monetary conflict of interest.

TaxMasters Hit With $195M Judgement – This comes as no surprise. These tax resolution services are no more legit than the credit card settlement services that take large up-front fees from desperate trusting people and then do nothing to help them.
IRS Already Gearing Up for Health-Care Crackdown – Another reason to root for the Supremes in DC to honor the Constitution and toss out ObamaCare. As if it’s not bad enough that the DemonRats’ socialized medicine scheme will decimate health care in this country, it also gives the already too powerful IRS more power over our lives.
