Why lefties back welfare for the rich –  There is a very legitimate philosophical issue of exactly what the government forced Social Security and Medicare programs represent.  Specifically, is it fair to force people to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars into these Ponzi schemes for several decades and then refuse to pay them any benefits because they may be subjectively classified as “evil rich” by our rulers in DC?  As I have pointed out for decades, any private insurance company that would pull this on its customers would have its executives in the slammer for fraud.  Our rulers in DC routinely screw people over and they’re treated like royalty.  

Deal or no deal, ObamaCare taxes poised to hit next month –  In typical government fashion, we have to pay these idiotic taxes for several years before any benefits are made available.
