Some people get all bent out of shape when they are referred to as Accountants, as in this scene from a recent episode of the British TV show, Mad Dogs.
Warning: British TV censorship standards are very similar to what we have on HBO and Showtime in the USA. In other words, this clip does contain the F word.

I’m obviously biased, but it seems that when Hollyweird writers need an example of a soul-less person, they often use accountants, as in this clip from last night’s Fringe episode.
“Oh, she’s not dead. Though in a manner of speaking, she was.
A bookkeeper for an accounting firm. Can you imagine anything more lifeless?”

Funny mash-up of a GOP debate, focusing on their mentions of Taxes and Reagan.
There are lots of these kinds of one topic video mash-ups on this site I just discovered, SuperCut.org, that has nothing to do with haircuts.
Here’s a good illustration of why the GOP needs to keep its focus on the Reagan legacy of lower taxes, as our Affirmative Action president proclaims his sickening love of spending other people’s money.

I’m not endorsing Herman Cain or his 999 plan, but this video he put out has a good look at the deplorable state of our current tax system. As always, identifying the problem is easy. It’s just impossible for everyone to agree on a solution.

I just saw the complete first episode of Ricky Gervais’ new show, Life’s Too Short, and it had the full scene between the main star and his tax accountant. It is even funnier than the clip I posted earlier; but it also gives more details of how things got in such bad shape. As too many people do, he had been using the tax services of an incompetent accountant merely because he was a friend. As is often the case in real life, he now doesn’t have the heart to stop using his friend and will go on paying hundreds of thousands in additional taxes as a result. I’ve lost track of how may times I have heard cases just like this in real life.

I was watching the first preview episode of Ricky Gervais’ new sitcom, “Life’s Too Short‘” and this scene with the show’s star and his tax accountant cracked me up. It’s set in England, but could just as easily be here in the States.
