IRS backs off proposal critics warned would ‘silence’ conservative groups – This could be a step in the right direction, or just motivate IRS to use different tactics to harass critics of the BHO Regime.

IRS: 318,000 fed workers owe $3.3B in back taxes – Does it strike anyone else as odd that IRS can garnish paychecks and seize bank accounts of private sector workers, but can’t get tax money out of employees of the Federal Government?

Judicial Watch has recently posted 1436 pages of emails and letters involving IRS employees and Senator Carl Levin (DemonRat –  Michigan) describing their plans to use IRS powers to attack Tea Party groups for daring to oppose the BHO Regime.  These were obtained under a FOIA request.  The copy I downloaded had some pages all black, which may be a scanning error or a typical BHO Regime redaction.

In Showdown With Lerner, House Imprisonment Not Out of the Question – Again, let’s not hold our breath waiting for this to happen. The end result of her refusal to cooperate with Congress will more likely be a bonus and promotion within the BHO Regime.

Since many people justifiably compare the tactics of the IRS to those of the USSR’s KGB, you have to wonder how this match-up will turn out, especially considering that Vladimir Putin served as an officer in the KGB for 16 years before moving into the world of politcs.
